Collaborating globally for local impact

Streamliners is excited to host the HealthPathways Conference 2024 in Brisbane, in partnership with Metro South Health and Brisbane South PHN. It’s a great opportunity for members of our community, including programme managers, coordinators, clinical editors and executives, to connect, collaborate, and share ideas. We’ll explore how the HealthPathways Community collaborates across the globe to impact local health systems.

We’ll be breaking down what this means and discussing key topics including:

Improving health equity

Creating and evaluating health system impact

Sharing strategies for member success

Exploring how digital transformation and integration change the face of healthcare

Positioned in the city’s vibrant South Bank precinct, the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is the perfect location to inspire discussion and collaboration. The venue has previously been recognised as the world’s best convention centre, and is surrounded by world-class cultural attractions, educational facilities, and hospitality.

Brisbane

Brisbane offers many leisure, cultural and dining opportunities. Head to the fashionable area of South Bank and enjoy the lush riverside gardens, walk through the markets or swim in the lagoon. If you prefer more active pursuits, take a bike ride in the City Botanic Gardens or even try your hand at abseiling on the cliffs of Kangaroo Point.

In the boating hub of nearby Moreton Bay and Islands you can swim, sea kayak, snorkel coral reefs, toboggan down the world’s tallest sand dune, hire a sailboat or tussle with a marlin. The paddle steamers make regular trips down the river or you can take a high-speed ferry to vibrant inner-city villages like Bulimba and New Farm.

For the culturally minded, Brisbane offers a huge amount of choice. Known as an arts and music mecca, there are always plenty of shows and performances taking place. Once the art galleries and museums have closed for the day, you can watch a performance by the Queensland Ballet, Symphony, Orchestra or Opera Queensland. For cutting-edge theatre a visit to the Powerhouse is a must.

Brisbane also boasts restaurants and cafes to suit every taste and budget and with a lively night life the city is a delight to wander while deciding where to eat.
